I just brought a Kailey off ebay. I got a great deal on her and honestly the only reason I brought her was to resell her. Well Kailey arrived today and her wig is a mess. The hair itself is perfect. But the wig was put on really poorly, there is glue showing around the edges. Has anyone else had this problem with Kailey? I am hoping AG will fix it for free. Even if they do I still have a problem because I am leaving for Honduras on 12/30 and I'll never get her back in time. I was really hoping the money I made on her could be used for my living expenses in Honduras. What should I do? I could sell her now "as is" but I won't make the money that I had hoped. Please help!

I would pm LordofthePumpkin. She has done wig work and might have some ideas to help you.

My Kailey is NOT Kailey!!!! The reason why her wig is so messed up is because she was rewigged with Kailey's wig! My doll has blue eyes, not brown. I don't think the seller knew because she didn't even list her as Kailey. That's why I got her so cheap. I'm so angry. I spent all this money on a doll that I don't need and don't have the extra money for and now I can't resell her! How can I recoup my money? I'm not even interested in making money at this point. I just want to make back what I spent.

I would contact the seller - Tell her thank you for the quick shipping, however upon inspection of the doll it looks as though the dolls wig is re-glued, which is not mentioned in the listing. See if she offers a responce that would be positive to you. If not you can file a Signifigantly not as described with E-Bay. That is about all you can do.
Good Luck

I saw that auction and forwarded the pic to AG they claimed (it took 3 days) that she was not Kailey as she had never been made with blue eyes.
Your best bet is to contact the seller and see if they will do anything. She wasn't listed as a Kailey though, so they may not. I would focus on the re-glued hair - that should have been mentioned in the auction.
If the seller won't do anything, you can try re-selling and see what happens.
Sorry to hear about this

You might ask the seller why they didn't mention that the doll had been rewigged. Other than that, I don't think you can do much. They didn't represent the doll as Kailey.
